Welcome to the Home Wick Candle Co. blog! I want to start off by thanking you for supporting my small business that I started back in 2022.
For my first blog post, I would like to begin by introducing a little about who I am as a person and as a candle making, as well as tell you a lot more about my candles and why they stand out from the rest.
My journey with candles began long before I officially launched Home Wick Candles in 2022. It started with a simple passion—a love for creating beautiful spaces and the warmth that a quality candle brings to any room. Home decor has always been my creative outlet, and candles became the perfect way to combine aesthetics with ambiance.
If you know me personally, you've probably noticed another big part of who I am: my deep love for animals. My love for animals has shaped not only my personal life but also the values behind my candle making. It's important to me that everything we create aligns with my beliefs about caring for our furry friends and the world around us.
Over the years, I've invested considerable time into researching the ins and out of candle making—from understanding different wax types and fragrance blending to exploring sustainable practices and ethical sourcing. This knowledge has been essential in developing candles that I'm genuinely proud to share with you. After a lot of research and sourcing, I am happy to tell you that all of the products I use to make my candles are made in the USA. The wax I use is 100% natural soy wax, and I only use clean essential oils. What are clean essential oils? I am so glad that you asked. Clean essential oils are 100% plant based, non-toxic, and cruelty-free oils.
